Virginia Beer Coming To Virginia Wine Expo’s Burger Blast

VA Wine ExpoNever thought I’d be saying this but it looks like I’ll be attending the Virginia Wine Expo for the first time this year.  In their great wisdom, the Expo has added Burger Blast to their schedule Friday February 22nd from 5 – 10pm.  Burger Blast will feature artisan burgers with samplings of Virginia beer and wine.

  • Selection of creative, artisan-made burgers cooked fresh by the regions’ best chefs  – a full meal!
  • Samples of craft beer from Virginia and the U.S.
  • Samples of Virginia wine
  • Live music
  • Riedel crystal wine glass (used for wine & beer)
  • People’s Choice Award for best burger
  • Perfect opportunity to unwind and start your weekend with a Blast!

Still Room At Popkin Tavern’s Goose Island Beer Dinner This Wednesday

Goose Island Big John Logo4Surprisingly, tickets are still available for Popkin Tavern’s Goose Island Beer Dinner this Wednesday January 23rd at 7pm. This dinner boast seven great Goose Island beers with three of their most limited stouts from the Borubon County line for dessert.
